After years in the sex toy industry, listening to our fellow ladies and hearing the same questions and concerns again and again, we wanted to do something about it. And that’s why Joy For Women was born. 

Our mission: Normalising sex toys and female pleasure

Sexual pleasure is critically important for women – it feeds the body, the mind and the soul. And good sex doesn’t just make us feel good. It helps us build confidence and strengthens our relationships with our partners too.

We believe in loving ourselves first, and exercising self-care by getting to know our own bodies. Because it’s liberating to find out what makes you tingle, and learning you don’t need anyone else to get you there. 

Here, in our little patch of cyberspace, we don’t just sell sex toys. We’re creating a safe space for women to explore sexual pleasure, ask awkward questions and have a lot of fun.

Introducing Dina G: Purveyor of Sexual Pleasure

Dina G is Joy For Women’s passionate and vivacious founder. She’s a woman on a mission to change the way we talk about female sexual pleasure.

After a career in retail, Dina started working at an adult shop… and it rocked her world. A people-person by nature, customers loved her fun and easy-going personality so they confided in her, sharing their stories and concerns.

Over time, Dina noticed a common theme emerging: a huge stigma around sex toys, especially for women. Women felt uncomfortable talking openly about their sexual needs, and sex shops (often staffed by men) could be an intimidating and scary place for them. 

Dina wanted to change the game. She made the adult shop a safe space for women – a place where they could ask questions, talk about what they like, and find the best toys and pleasure products for them.

But that wasn’t enough. Dina wanted to share her passion for sexual pleasure education with women all over Australia, so she started Joy For Women. And she's pretty damn proud of what she's built!
